Residential Roofing
Roofing Contractors Serving OKC Metro, Edmond, Moore & Norman
Your Home's First Line of Defense
Your roof has one job: keep water out of your home. Maybe it's just old. Maybe last spring's hail did more damage than it looks like from the ground. Either way, you need someone who'll actually look, not just hand you a number.
Red River Roofing, Siding, and Windows has installed more than 17,000 roofs since 1999. Twenty-seven years in Edmond, Oklahoma City, Moore, and Norman means we've seen what this state's weather does to a roof: hail, sideways rain, and 80-degree swings in the same day. We bring that same experience to full replacements, emergency repairs, and no-cost inspections alike.
One team. One plan. Your home, protected for years to come.
What Actually Makes a Roofing Contractor Worth Hiring
A certification is only as good as the training behind it. Ours come directly from the manufacturers whose materials we install: GAF Master Elite, Owens Corning Platinum Preferred, and CertainTeed Shingle Master. That means every roof we build follows the exact specifications those materials are rated for, not a shortcut version of them. Every representative also completes at least 150 hours of training a year, on top of that certification.
That's the kind of detail worth asking about before you hire anyone: who trained the crew, what they're actually certified to install, and how long they've been doing it here. For a full list of what to ask, see our guide to choosing a roofing contractor.

Our Services
Roof Replacement
Is your roof past patching? We handle full tear-offs and replacements across the OKC metro, using manufacturer-specified materials installed by factory-trained crews.
Roof Repair
Leaks don't wait for a convenient time. Our in-house repair and maintenance division, six trucks and thirteen to sixteen technicians, handles everything from a single missing shingle to storm damage.
Red Shelter Roof Program
Your home is more than a collection of individual products. The Red Shelter System is Red River's approach to total exterior protection, evaluating how your roofing, siding, windows, ventilation, and insulation work together to protect your home from Oklahoma's extreme weather.
Roof Type Comparison
Asphalt, metal, tile, and slate each hold up differently against Oklahoma hail and heat. Our Roof Type Comparison Guide breaks down the real tradeoffs in cost, lifespan, and maintenance.
Insurance Claims
Filing a storm-damage claim is confusing on purpose. We work directly with your insurance provider, document the damage the way adjusters expect to see it, and we'll tell you plainly if it's not time to file yet.
Manufacturer Partnerships & Warranties
We're factory-trained and certified to install complete roof systems to manufacturer specifications. That certification, from the manufacturers themselves, is what backs your warranty coverage.

What Our Customers Are Saying
How a Roof Actually Works
Shingles shed water. They're not waterproof, and they were never meant to be. The real waterproofing happens underneath, in the underlayment, the flashing around every vent and chimney, and the ice-and-water barrier in the vulnerable spots. When a roof fails, it's almost always one of those hidden layers that gives out first, not the shingles themselves.
A rushed installation skips or thins out these layers, since they're invisible once the job is done. We don't skip them. Every layer below plays its own part in keeping water out of your home:

What Happens During Your 360-Evaluation
Before we recommend anything, we walk the entire exterior of your home with you, not just the roof. That's a 360-evaluation, a full look at the roof, attic ventilation, siding, and trim, done together so nothing gets missed and nothing gets oversold.
Out of that walk-through comes your Home Treatment Plan, a documented list of what needs attention now and what can wait, in plain language, with photos. If your roof still has good years left, we'll tell you that too.
Find Out Exactly Where Your Roof Stands
Your 360-evaluation starts with a phone call, and it costs you nothing.
What Does a Roof Replacement Cost?
No two roofs cost the same to replace, and any number you find online is only a starting point. What actually determines your price is the size and pitch of your roof, how many layers of old shingles need to come off, the condition of the decking underneath, and the material you choose.
Asphalt shingles are the most common choice and typically the most affordable. Impact-resistant shingles, wood shake, and polymer composite cost more upfront and hold up differently against Oklahoma hail. See our Roof Type Comparison Guide for the full breakdown.
Wondering what a roof inspection costs? With us, nothing. The only number that means anything for your home comes from a real look at your roof, and that look is always free. If cost is the main thing holding you back, ask about 0% interest financing for 18 months when you call.
Rooted in the Communities We Serve
Edmond's older, tree-lined neighborhoods, Moore's newer subdivisions off I-35, Norman's mix of college-town rentals and family homes, and Oklahoma City's sprawl across all of it: no two roofs in this area are quite the same job. We've worked in all four communities, and the areas around them, since 1999, long enough to know the difference before we ever climb a ladder.

Have Questions? Here Are Some Answers

In many parts of the country, an asphalt shingle roof can last 20 to 25 years. Oklahoma is a different story. Hail, high winds, extreme temperatures, ice, and wind-driven rain take their toll. The reality is that many Oklahoma roofs only last 10 to 15 years. A roof nearing the end of that window doesn't need an insurance claim to justify a look. It just needs an honest inspection.

It depends on the manufacturer and whether the roof was installed to their exact specifications, which is why factory-trained installation matters as much as the shingle brand. We'll walk you through what your warranty covers before you sign anything.
-
Sometimes yes, sometimes not yet. We'll do a straightforward inspection and tell you which one it is, even if that means telling you to wait.
-
It depends on your roof's size, pitch, and material, which is why we start with a no-cost inspection instead of a number that doesn't account for your actual roof.

No. Covering a homeowner's deductible has been illegal in Oklahoma since November 2022, and it was insurance fraud before that. If a bid seems built around that offer, that's worth asking more questions about.
Protect your home with a roof system built to last, installed by the team that's been doing this in Oklahoma since 1999.
